Senior QA Automation Engineer – DevOps & Test Automation

Location: Lisbon, Portugal — hybrid work model. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Act as a technical leader for continuous improvement initiatives across the Test Factory.
• Identify, develop, and maintain automated test assets, scripts, and frameworks.
• Ensure test cases are automated according to industry standards and best practices.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and operational environments.
• Optimize testing efficiency, coverage, reliability, and product quality.
• Lead DevOps adoption within the testing lifecycle and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in QA automation, testing, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps principles and tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages used for test automation and a solid understanding of CI/CD processes.
• Fluent English and fluent French.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• Testing or DevOps certifications.
• Experience working in international or multicultural teams.
