Technical Security Architect (Zero Trust)

Location: Hampshire, United Kingdom; based onsite 5 days per week. Right to work in the United Kingdom and eligibility for UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements are required. Some roles may be subject to nationality requirements.

What you will do

• Design security architectures and technically lead implementation for on-premises secure cloud and Zero Trust solutions.
• Work with customer architecture teams to develop practical security solutions and translate business and security requirements into architecture.
• Assess vulnerabilities and risks, define security requirements, and address current and emerging threats.
• Develop and enforce security policies and standards aligned with customer, legal, regulatory, and Defence requirements.
• Support team members through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.
• Advise customers on DXC security products and services and build trusted stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• Professional experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or a related discipline, preferably delivering solutions in Defence or highly regulated environments.
• Proven experience designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures aligned with NIST SP 800-207.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and security monitoring.
• Experience integrating security architectures with enterprise, cloud, and infrastructure architectures.
• Knowledge of SABSA and TOGAF, threat modelling, risk assessment, and secure-by-design principles.
• Experience applying NIST, ISO 27001, JSP 440, HMG Security Policy Framework, and other Defence and industry standards, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
