Associate Director - Cloud Technology Advisor (Cloud)

What you will do

• Drive cloud consulting and transformation opportunities from origination through closure, including sales, pipeline, revenue, proposals, and deal shaping.
• Lead discovery workshops and translate business requirements into cloud transformation roadmaps and solution strategies.
• Develop solutions covering cloud migration, modernization, AI enablement, application transformation, infrastructure modernization, FinOps, and managed services.
• Advise CIO, CTO, COO, CFO, and other executives on multi-cloud adoption, operating models, governance, economics, security, resilience, and compliance.
• Provide executive oversight of consulting engagements, governance forums, steering committees, risks, escalations, and transitions into delivery.
• Develop reusable frameworks and methodologies, mentor specialists, and maintain relationships with Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, cloud transformation, solution advisory, or enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience in technical pre-sales, client delivery leadership, business development, and achieving commercial targets.
• Experience leading large-scale cloud migration, modernization, or transformation programmes and engaging executive stakeholders.
• Professional-level certification in at least one hyperscaler platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong consultative selling, executive communication, commercial analysis, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in the Calgary, Canada location.

Nice to have

• MBA or master's degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Additional certifications in cloud architecture, FinOps, DevSecOps, ITIL, TOGAF, Agile/Scrum, security, or compliance.
• Experience in a global consulting or systems integration organisation.
• Experience in financial services, public sector, retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, or healthcare.
