TL;DR
Senior Android Engineer (AI) (Android/Kotlin/AI): Building user-facing AI agent experiences and scalable Android foundations for a financial workspace used by more than 750,000 businesses with an accent on reliable, maintainable, and performant mobile development. Focus on delivering AI features end-to-end, using AI coding tools for implementation, and keeping Android functionality aligned with the web product in a regulated banking environment.
Location: Remote for candidates living in or willing to relocate to Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain. The role is associated with Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Berlin, and Lisbon.

What you will do
- Build and deliver Android features for AI agents from scoping through release.
- Design clean, SOLID, testable, performant Android foundations that scale across the application.
- Use AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to review, refine, and ship code efficiently.
- Bring AI agent features from the web experience to Android in collaboration with Product, iOS, Backend, and Frontend teams.
- Help develop a platform that enables other teams to build their own AI agents.
Requirements
- Strong production experience developing Android applications with Kotlin.
- Experience shipping quickly in a product-driven, user-centric environment.
- Daily use of AI coding tools and hands-on experience building or testing an AI-powered solution.
- Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical colleagues and commit to solutions after constructive discussion.
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of Swift.

Hiring process
- One interview with a Talent Acquisition Manager and one technical interview with a Tech Lead.
- A two-hour live skills test with two Android engineers.
- Final interview and meeting with the AI Product Lead.
