Location: Hybrid role based in Spring House, Pennsylvania, or La Jolla, California, United States

Base pay: $117,000–$201,250 per year

What you will do

• Apply pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling to support project-team decisions from early discovery through early clinical studies.
• Develop and apply physiologically based pharmacokinetic, mechanistic PK/PD, and systems pharmacology models.
• Predict preclinical and clinical pharmacokinetic profiles.
• Quantify exposure–response relationships for target engagement biomarkers, efficacy, and potential adverse effects.
• Guide in vivo and in vitro experimental designs that generate informative modeling data.
• Collaborate with biology, chemistry, and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic project members on preclinical and early clinical studies.

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmacology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant industry experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles and PK or PK/PD modeling.
• Strong mathematical modeling and simulation skills supported by peer-reviewed publications.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in the United States.
