Product Manager (AI)

Location: Fully remote, United States only; must be based in the U.S.

Employment: Full-time W-2 employment with hirify.global. The role supports the Department of Veterans Affairs Loan Guaranty Service and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance; a Secret clearance is not required.

What you will do

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for the modernization of the VA Loan Guaranty technology portfolio.
• Translate business needs, policy changes, and regulations into traceable user stories and precise acceptance criteria.
• Drive intake from initial business intent to scoped, estimated, and committed delivery plans.
• Build and maintain the roadmap across modernization, sustainment, and legacy platform decommissioning.
• Coordinate stakeholders, user acceptance testing, monthly releases, and the transition from legacy to modern capabilities.
• Use analytics, operational metrics, and AI tools to improve prioritization, policy analysis, story drafting, and stakeholder feedback synthesis.

Requirements

• Product management experience with complex enterprise software, real users, significant operational stakes, and measurable outcomes.
• Housing finance domain fluency, with relevant depth in servicing, loss mitigation, claims, lending, or related operations.
• Strong requirements-writing skills, including user stories and acceptance criteria suitable for engineering delivery and automated testing.
• Experience with federal delivery constraints, including accessibility, security, and documentation.
• Ability to facilitate discussions across senior officials, field users, engineers, and external lender and servicer stakeholders.
• Must be based in the United States and able to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with VA Loan Guaranty, VALERI, VA benefit programs, FHA, USDA rural housing, GSEs, or lender and servicer operations.
• Product experience with Salesforce or another configuration-first platform.
• Familiarity with MISMO, URLA, Jira, Confluence, or scaled agile delivery.
