Supervisor, Pump Production (Medical Devices)

Location: Fully onsite in San Diego, California. Monday–Thursday, 4:00 AM–2:30 PM PST.

Salary: $73,000–$83,000 annually.

hirify.global develops and manufactures insulin pumps and related diabetes technology, including the Tandem Mobi system and t:slim X2 insulin pump with Control-IQ+ technology.

What you will do

• Supervise pump manufacturing personnel, assembly processes, schedules, and production coordination.
• Track work in progress, production yields, key performance measures, material usage, labor variances, and manufacturing performance.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP/QSR requirements, standard operating procedures, documentation, and regulatory audit readiness.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve production issues and implement process improvements that increase output and quality.
• Plan department headcount, budgets, training, systems requirements, and staff performance activities.
• Ensure employees are trained and production resources, equipment, and materials are used effectively.

Requirements

• Must work fully onsite in San Diego, California.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in instrumentation, biomedical industries, or consumer electronics, including 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience leading assembly teams and supervising manual, semi-automated, and automated assembly work involving plastic components, adhesives, fixtures, and magnification.
• Knowledge of cGMP/QSR principles, production and inventory control software such as ERP, Microsoft 365, and effective team leadership.

• Medical device or diagnostics manufacturing experience.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Prior leadership of a related department and its staff.
