Learning & Capability Manager

Location: NSW, Australia; hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote or from home

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders and People & Culture stakeholders to identify capability priorities and diagnose workforce capability gaps.
• Develop strategic capability roadmaps aligned with business objectives, including risk, compliance, and AI upskilling programs.
• Lead capability initiatives from needs analysis and solution design through implementation, governance, and outcome measurement.
• Manage capability portfolios across multiple business areas, prioritising investments and engaging external partners.
• Use learning technologies, data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve learning effectiveness and demonstrate business impact.

Requirements

• Experience leading enterprise-wide learning, capability, organisational development, or workforce transformation initiatives in a large, regulated, complex organisation.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience partnering with senior leaders.
• Deep understanding of adult learning principles, capability development, behavioural change, learning evaluation, and modern learning technologies.
• Strong project management and analytical skills, including experience managing priorities, vendors, budgets, and capability programs.
