Process Development Associate (Biotech)

Salary: $74,503.35–$100,798.65 per year

What you will do

• Conduct protein characterization and comparability studies using HPLC, UPLC, capillary electrophoresis, and mass spectrometry.
• Develop, qualify, transfer, optimize, and troubleshoot analytical methods for Quality Control.
• Perform chromatographic fractionation, peptide mapping, intact mass, LC-MS, and critical quality attribute studies.
• Conduct accelerated stability studies and evaluate therapeutic degradation pathways.
• Document results in laboratory notebooks and method development reports.
• Collaborate with process development, Quality Control, and partner organizations on process characterization, validation, and regulatory responses.

Requirements

• Master’s degree; or bachelor’s degree with 2 years of scientific experience; or associate’s degree with 4 years of scientific experience; or high school diploma/GED with 6 years of scientific experience.
• Scientific background in analytical method development and product characterization for therapeutic proteins.
• Experience or academic training in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, protein chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to plan and execute complex projects.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
