Associate Project Manager (Construction)

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida; onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to choose the work location on Fridays based on work requirements.

Annual base salary: $49,400.00–$87,639.99; salary compensation, not incentive- or commission-eligible.

What you will do

• Execute smaller turnkey projects and lead assigned tasks on larger projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Investigate customer concerns, implement corrective actions, and develop communication plans with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage project administration, documentation, business compliance, governing-agency requirements, and safety guidelines across state, city, county, federal, and local levels.
• Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents, conducting internal meetings, and establishing customer expectations.
• Select qualified subcontractors, award subcontracts, manage execution, and coordinate communication, meetings, billing expectations, and safety requirements.
• Manage project financials, including cash flow, monthly cost and revenue forecasts, cost at completion, expenses, collections support, applied cost, and monthly backlog reviews.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction project management, or a combination of a degree and 1–3 years of experience.
• Candidates without a four-year degree may apply; practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with leadership principles are considered.
• Experience with project schedules and project management construction software.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit-and-run, license suspension, reckless or careless driving, multiple smaller infractions, or preventable collisions in the previous three years.
• This is a safety-sensitive role and may require additional drug screening.
