Full-Time Medical Assistant (Primary Care)

Location: MO-Kansas City, United States; onsite clinic role

Salary: $21.00–$26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support a primary care physician and deliver an excellent patient experience.
• Room patients, clean and stock exam rooms, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections, medications, and immunizations, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, check-in and check-out, referrals, specialist visits, medical record requests, and documentation.
• Process test results, communicate results as directed, and conduct patient outreach to improve engagement.
• Maintain clinical supplies and equipment and collaborate with the care team on individual patient care plans.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
