B-2 Cyber Security Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Provide principal-level cybersecurity engineering and information assurance support for B-2 modernization, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment programs.
• Support security approval, sanitization, secure handling, and SAP information-assurance oversight for avionics, support equipment, operating systems, laboratory equipment, and related systems.
• Develop and review Program Protection Plans, anti-tamper plans, Authorization to Operate packages, Security Authorization documentation, system security profiles, and related engineering artifacts.
• Translate Air Force and command requirements into weapon-system requirements, concepts, action plans, policies, and technical solutions.
• Conduct mission, technical, trade-off, safety, reliability, airworthiness, and supportability analyses; identify deficiencies and develop corrective actions.
• Advise government, program, and project teams through design reviews, acquisition milestones, requirements development, testing, certification, and lifecycle engineering activities.

Requirements

• Active or current Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in professional engineering, mathematics, or a cybersecurity-related science discipline.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree and extensive professional experience: at least 15 years with a bachelor’s degree, or 20 years with an ABET-accredited master’s or doctoral degree, or 25 years with an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree.
• For the advanced degree or bachelor’s pathways, experience must include at least 12 or 15 years in the Department of Defense, respectively.
• Must meet the prerequisites for a government-granted DoDI 8570 baseline certification appropriate to the position and responsibilities.
• Experience with computer and electronic systems, Windows and UNIX-based operating systems, avionics, test equipment, DoD engineering processes, and cybersecurity or information-assurance documentation.
