Vue-first Fullstack (Vue)

Location: Remote in Colombia; work schedule aligned with US Eastern hours and assigned team or project

What you will do

• Join an existing Agile team and contribute to client software projects.
• Lead technical work and contribute independently after ramping up quickly.
• Develop backend services with PHP, Laravel, APIs, and unit tests.
• Build frontend interfaces with Vue.js.
• Work directly with client teams every day.
• Mentor other engineers and troubleshoot production issues.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Backend experience with PHP 8+, Laravel, API development, and unit testing.
• Frontend experience with Vue.js 3+.
• Experience with MySQL or MariaDB.
• Experience with Git, Docker, Apache, and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Ability to lead technical work, mentor others, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Strong English communication skills for daily collaboration with the client team.
• Good time zone overlap with US Eastern hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and MongoDB.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Zend or Laminas.
