Developer Relations Manager (Geospatial Technology)

Location: United States; hybrid and remote options are available where applicable

Salary: $152,150–$205,850 annual base compensation for most US locations, with 5%–10% higher ranges in higher-cost US locations.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the Developer Relations strategy, programs, priorities, and success metrics.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Developer Relations team.
• Build and grow a developer community through technical content, events, workshops, webinars, demos, social media, and forums.
• Create technical content, talks, demos, and map-powered applications while engaging directly with developers and technical influencers.
• Connect developer feedback with Product and Engineering teams to improve products, documentation, and developer experience.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and internal technical experts to scale developer programs and partnerships.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Developer Evangelism, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience leading or developing others, with strong coaching and people leadership skills.
• Experience creating and executing Developer Relations strategies and programs.
• Technical understanding of APIs, SDKs, developer tools, software workflows, geospatial technology, data, and mobile development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience delivering technical talks, demos, workshops, webinars, videos, or documentation.
• Experience with cross-functional leadership, program management, metrics, experimentation, and data-informed prioritization.
