Quality Assurance and Sanitation Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Goodyear, Arizona, United States; onsite at a manufacturing plant. First-shift position with flexibility to support the team on weekends or outside regular hours when needed.

Salary: $65,500–$90,100 per year base salary.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a four-person Master Sanitation team responsible for plant infrastructure sanitation.
• Develop sanitation standard work, training programs, cleaning validation, verification processes, and pest-control systems.
• Track sanitation KPIs, identify cost-saving opportunities, improve line-cleaning efficiency, and support production changeovers.
• Coordinate with chemical suppliers, pest-control providers, janitorial services, Corporate Food Safety, Operations, Quality, and Plant Leadership.
• Support SQF, FDA, Organic, Gluten-Free, GMP, internal, and third-party audits.
• Oversee environmental monitoring, CAPA management, quality-system data, and corrective-action effectiveness.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED plus 2+ years of sanitation experience and 1+ year of manufacturing supervision, or a bachelor's degree plus 3 months of manufacturing experience.
• Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work onsite in Goodyear, Arizona.
• Availability to support the team during weekends or off-hours when required.
• Ability to collaborate across Operations, Quality, and Plant Leadership.

Nice to have

• Sanitation supervisory experience and 3+ years of quality experience in food manufacturing.
• Food safety knowledge covering regulatory requirements, PCQI, HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and food microbiology.
• SQF Practitioner certification.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and plant environments.
