Executive Medical Director-Payment Integrity (Payment Integrity)

Location: Richardson, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote

Base pay: $214,800–$398,900 per year, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead assigned medical policies and payment integrity programs.
• Perform medical reviews and engage with provider communities.
• Apply clinical knowledge, reimbursement methodology, and benefit management principles to managed care practices.
• Lead groups toward consensus, resolution, and alignment with corporate strategy.
• Oversee annual budgets and allocate resources across projects and operational needs.
• Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support investments and demonstrate return on investment.

Requirements

• Physician with an M.D. or D.O. degree and a current, unrestricted physician license in a U.S. state or territory.
• Board certification from an approved medical or osteopathic specialty board.
• At least five years of post-graduate patient care or clinical experience.
• At least five years of managed care experience, including applying medical issues to managed care practices.
• Knowledge of current medical and surgical techniques, reimbursement methodology, and benefit management.
• Strong leadership, communication, strategic decision-making, presentation, negotiation, and process improvement skills.

• Experience developing business strategies and leading broad medical policy initiatives.
• Legal or compliance experience.
• Payment integrity or reimbursement experience.
