iOS Engineer II (AI)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States

Salary: $119,000–$166,500 per year, with potential performance-based pay up to $190,500.

What you will do

• Build, enhance, test, and maintain iOS applications for travelers and partners.
• Translate product requirements into mobile solutions using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and established iOS practices.
• Contribute to system and low-level design, API integration, data modeling, and technical decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and quality partners from development through production.
• Debug, test, monitor, and optimize application quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions for personalized customer experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of mobile development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and core iOS development, including UIKit or SwiftUI.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs, modeling data, and applying low-level design principles.
• Experience writing maintainable, testable code and contributing to debugging, code reviews, performance improvement, and production support.
• Employment is based in Seattle, Washington, United States.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of iOS software development experience.
• Recent proficiency with SwiftUI, app architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience owning features end to end and working with agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of animation, responsive layouts, and reactive design patterns.
