I&E Technician 1-5 (CO2 Gas Processing)

Location: Onsite at the SACROC CO2 Gas Processing Plant in Snyder, Texas (USA). Core schedule is M-F 7-4, with 24/7 on-call rotation required and ability to be on site within 45 minutes of call-outs.

What you will do

• Install and maintain instrumentation circuits (24vdc), lighting (120-240vac), and three-phase power circuits (480-12470vac)
• Maintain complex instrumentation: pressure, temperature and vibration transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and flow meters
• Troubleshoot switchgear/transformers from 480v to 12470v and maintain synchronous/induction motors
• Read and interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics
• Plan and schedule I&E maintenance via the Maximo work order system
• Serve as a company representative to contract activities and coordinate with process and operations teams

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Industry experience in Electrical Controls & Instrumentation end devices
• PLC panel hardware troubleshooting experience
• AC three-phase voltage experience (480v to 12470v) and experience with synchronous/induction motors
• Fluent in English; valid driver's license with satisfactory record required
• Available for 24/7 on-call rotation, call-outs, and unscheduled overtime

Nice to have

• 3 years of relevant industry experience in the above areas
• Experience with SCADA, DCS, PLC programming (Unity Pro, Concept, GE Fanuc)
• Experience in a gas processing plant
• Associates or technical degree, Electrical Controls Certification, or Texas Journeyman Electrician License
