Senior Backend Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Deliver backend services for product features from requirements through production.
• Coordinate with product and technical teams, manage dependencies, identify risks, and drive initiatives to completion.
• Propose technical solutions that balance customer value, feasibility, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help introduce structure and visibility to product development.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with technical leadership across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional backend development experience, including at least 4 years at a senior level.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL databases.
• Experience with modern backend architecture and sound technical judgment.
• Ability to communicate with Product Owners, engineers, and management while managing dependencies and risks.
• Autonomous ownership of outcomes, timelines, and delivery.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication.
