Principal AI Solutions Architect (AI/ML)

Location: Santa Clara Office, hybrid

On-target earnings: $300,000–$330,000, plus equity and commission.

What you will do

• Architect and position scalable AI, ML, HPC, and data management solutions aligned with customer business outcomes.
• Lead technical discovery, presentations, product demonstrations, proof-of-concept delivery, and pre-sales customer development.
• Design data architectures and strategies supporting AI/ML workflows, training, inference, analytics, and deployment.
• Apply generative AI expertise across LLMs, neural networks, RAG, inference, recommendation systems, and AI application frameworks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Engineering, alliances, OEMs, cloud providers, hyperscalers, channels, and integrators on joint solutions and go-to-market initiatives.
• Train internal teams and partners while supporting successful adoption, usage, and measurable business impact.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML infrastructure, data engineering, consulting for AI projects, or AI/ML and data science application development.
• Demonstrable expertise in generative AI, including LLMs, neural networks, recommendation systems, RAG, inference, and AI workflows.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, NVIDIA Enterprise Suite, NeMO, NIMs, feature stores, vector databases, embedding models, ETL tools, and modern programming frameworks.
• Proven success delivering technical wins in complex sales or consulting environments.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, executive presence, and public speaking skills.
• Subject-matter expertise in AI frameworks, data science, data engineering, predictive analytics, or generative AI development.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• AI and cloud architecture certifications from NVIDIA, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar providers.
• Experience with alliances, OEMs, partner ecosystems, hyperscalers, cloud providers, joint solution delivery, and co-selling.
• Knowledge of ROI and data center optimization metrics, including energy efficiency, space utilization, and performance tuning.
