Solutions Architect - AI

What you will do

• Define enterprise AI architecture, reference patterns, standards, and solution blueprints for merchandising, supply chain, stores, marketing, and e-commerce.
• Lead the evaluation and integration of open-source AI and ML frameworks, including LLM deployment, fine-tuning, serving, and agentic workflows.
• Architect end-to-end AI systems for search, recommendations, personalization, demand forecasting, inventory, pricing, store assistants, and supply-chain copilots.
• Design AI observability with model monitoring, drift detection, feedback loops, dashboards, alerting, and GenAI quality and cost tracking.
• Own AI security architecture, threat modeling, red-teaming, privacy controls, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
• Establish MLOps, AIOps, governance, AI productivity tooling, and build-versus-buy-versus-open-source practices while supporting implementation.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in software, data, or AI engineering, including 5+ years in AI/ML architecture roles.
• Production AI experience in retail, e-commerce, supply chain, or another consumer-facing industry is required.
• Hands-on expertise with open-source AI/ML tools such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex, MLflow, Ray, Feast, and Evidently.
• Strong Python and ML framework skills, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn, plus modern lakehouse, streaming, and batch data architectures.
• Experience with AI observability, AI security threat models, secure LLM deployment, cloud AI/ML services, and platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Established daily use of AI productivity tools and the ability to explain complex architectures to technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling enterprise AI platforms or AI Centers of Excellence.
• Open-source AI contributions or published architecture patterns.
• AI red-teaming, adversarial testing, or formal AI risk assessment experience.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS, Blue Yonder, Aptos POS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or equivalent retail platforms.
• Cloud or AI certifications such as AWS ML Specialty, Azure AI Engineer, or GCP Professional ML Engineer.
