Intermediate Cloud Security Engineer (Remote US)

Salary: $115,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, automate, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, production-grade infrastructure across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP.
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to build highly available cloud environments for internal and external infrastructure.
• Provide Level 3 technical support to internal teams, customers, and partners.
• Lead customers on cloud deployment patterns and investigate integration issues during implementation.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, root cause analysis, and knowledge documentation.
• Improve internal tools, system health, reliability, and operational maturity.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States; the role is fully remote.
• At least 5 years of information technology experience, including infrastructure and platform-services automation.
• At least 4 years of experience engineering and supporting containerization technologies, plus 4 years with AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
• Experience building end-to-end cloud solutions from low-level architecture documents and translating customer requirements into new infrastructure.
• Strong networking fundamentals and experience with security and compliance controls, including SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO27001.
• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift, Docker, and infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

• Professional cloud certifications.
• Experience managing customer cloud environments and improving on-call support processes.
