Director of Global Communications (AI)

What you will do

• Develop and execute the global corporate communications strategy, narrative, messaging architecture, and communications frameworks.
• Lead communications for company announcements, partnerships, milestones, organizational changes, market expansion, and sensitive or crisis situations.
• Advise the CEO and senior leadership team through executive messaging, presentations, speeches, media preparation, and external positioning.
• Build thought leadership around strategic intelligence, AI, technology, security, and geopolitical risk using original research from the Intelligence team.
• Lead media strategy, spokesperson activities, press materials, analyst relations, blog content, and communications for company events.
• Develop the communications team, manage the external PR agency, and enable consistent execution across global markets.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, executive communications, or a related field.
• Experience developing corporate narratives and explaining complex business, technology, security, intelligence, or industry topics to varied audiences.
• Exceptional writing and editorial skills across executive communications, media materials, presentations, thought leadership, and long-form content.
• Demonstrated media relations experience, including proactive engagement, spokesperson preparation, and communications for sensitive or high-profile issues.
• Experience advising executives, building communications processes and measurement practices, and connecting communications strategy to commercial objectives.
• Experience leading communications teams and managing agencies or external partners; a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in national security, geopolitical risk, strategic intelligence, cybersecurity, defense, technology, or another complex or highly regulated industry.
• Experience leading communications across the United States, United Kingdom, and EMEA.
• Experience building or scaling a corporate communications function and overseeing analyst relations programs.
• Experience supporting communications growth in Japan and Australia.
