Paranoids Endpoint Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: United States of America; flexible hybrid work with occasional in-person events or team sessions.

Salary: $111,000–$231,250 per year, with potential discretionary bonus or commissions.

What you will do

• Lead the rollout and ongoing operation of an enterprise browser security platform, from proof of concept through full-fleet deployment.
• Build and tune browser, endpoint, removable-media, and data-transfer security policies.
• Automate browser extension review, risk scoring, and endpoint exception triage using enterprise AI tools.
• Validate AI-generated policy logic, scripts, and rule changes before deployment to prevent policy bypasses.
• Partner with device management, identity, legal, communications, and IT teams to deliver security roadmap milestones.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle security, report fleet risk posture, and support container and cloud security initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of information security experience focused on endpoint security or security engineering.
• Direct experience with enterprise browser security or zero-trust access platforms.
• Hands-on experience securing macOS and Windows endpoints at enterprise scale using MDM platforms such as Jamf or Intune, with browser policy administration through Google Workspace or Chrome Enterprise.
• Knowledge of endpoint hardware security, secure boot, TPM, Apple Secure Enclave, full-disk encryption, application control, media sanitization, browser extension security, identity providers, removable-media controls, and endpoint data loss prevention.
• Strong communication skills and practical experience using enterprise AI platforms such as Claude or Gemini for structured prompting, log analysis, policy generation, or workflow automation.

Nice to have

• Endpoint or device management certification, such as Jamf Certified Admin, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, or GIAC GCWN.
• Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms for reporting and program metrics.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, container security, Kubernetes, and enterprise device provisioning programs.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager, Windows Autopilot, Activation Lock, IT asset disposition vendors, or AI-integrated security workflows.
