Product Manager (Art Auction)

Location: New York, United States

Base salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and maintain a product roadmap for critical internal workflow tools.
• Work with design, engineering, QA, product teams, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions incrementally.
• Prioritize work by evaluating costs, benefits, user needs, and business impact.
• Conduct user research and interviews, using data to guide product decisions.
• Collaborate with business partners to drive adoption of new tools and features.
• Communicate product goals, delivery progress, and impact to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience building software solutions for complex business workflows or a deep understanding of auction-house property inbound processes.
• Ability to write clear feature specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
• Experience collaborating with design to define problems and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to work across technology and business functions and recommend solutions that maximize user value.
• Experience gathering stakeholder feedback, analyzing user insights, and translating findings into product enhancements.
• Understanding of the art auction market and its dynamics.
