What you will do

• Design and develop reliable, scalable services for a data replication and storage platform.
• Build backend services in Rust and maintain selected components of the existing C++ codebase.
• Improve system reliability, throughput, performance, and scalability for large-scale workloads.
• Collaborate with client engineers, internal engineers, and stakeholders on architecture and product objectives.
• Participate in architectural discussions and evaluate technical approaches.
• Use AI-powered development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality.

Requirements

• Strong senior-level software engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.
• Experience building and maintaining high-load, scalable, distributed services.
• Experience with Rust or willingness to adopt Rust as the primary development language.
• Practical C++ expertise and readiness to maintain existing C++ components.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, algorithms, data structures, computational complexity, and performance optimization.
• Experience validating solutions at production scale, solving scalability challenges, and collaborating effectively in distributed teams.
