What you will do

• Help customers apply SEL products through site visits, demonstrations, training courses, and telephone support.
• Develop and maintain expertise in power system automation solutions and related SEL products.
• Design imaginative, thorough, and practical solutions for increasingly difficult technical problems.
• Present at sales activities, industry technical meetings, and conferences.
• Teach SEL University courses and contribute to white papers, application guides, journals, and technical papers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in power systems automation and communications.
• Experience with utility or industrial power systems, automation, communications, and control.
• Knowledge of SCADA protocols including DNP3, Modbus, SEL, IEC 61850, Ethernet/IP, and OPC UA.
• Experience with RTUs, RTACs, IEDs, SEL relays, PLCs, HMIs, industrial networking, firewalls, security gateways, routers, managed switches, and SDN.
• Strong technical training, speaking, writing, troubleshooting, and customer service skills, with willingness to travel 25% of the time.
