Advisor, Analytics Consulting (Credit Risk)

Location: Burlington, Canada; hybrid work with in-person attendance at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week

What you will do

• Lead analytics consulting engagements from requirements gathering and solution design through data extraction, modeling, validation, insight generation, and executive presentation.
• Deliver custom scorecards, predictive models, benchmarking studies, aggregate data solutions, reject inference analyses, lost sales analyses, and retained analytics programs.
• Translate complex analytical findings into client recommendations, business outcomes, and revenue opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Solution Consultants, DSA analysts, Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Technology teams.
• Apply segmentation, portfolio analytics, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, scenario development, simulation, and advanced machine learning.
• Manage project plans, ensure delivery quality and compliance, and contribute to scalable consulting methods and new analytics offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of analytics experience in financial services, risk management, or related industries, including 5+ years leading client-facing analytics engagements.
• 3+ years of direct experience with credit bureau data, products, and analytics solutions.
• Advanced programming and analytical capabilities with R, SAS, SQL, Python, and big data technologies such as Hive, Spark, Hadoop, or cloud platforms.
• Experience developing and validating predictive models, including logistic regression, decision trees, XGBoost, and other statistical or machine learning methods.
• Strong consulting, project management, stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field.
• Bilingual English/French communication skills to support client engagements across Canada.
• Experience with hirify.global data assets, products, or services.
