Invoice Finance Business Auditor

What you will do

• Conduct new business surveys, follow-up audit visits, and other business reviews for invoice finance and asset-based lending clients.
• Produce timely, accurate reports with reasoned findings and recommendations.
• Identify and report adverse trends, industry risks, suspected fraud, and security issues.
• Manage an individual workload, meet performance targets, and support colleagues on complex audits.
• Build relationships with internal and external clients while gathering and recording key information.
• Escalate issues and findings to the Audit Manager and suggest improvements to processes and strategy.

Requirements

• Audit and survey experience, with a sound understanding of business and finance.
• Knowledge of invoice finance, including factoring, invoice discounting, or asset-based lending, is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, investigation, attention-to-detail, and business-analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Technology literacy, including the ability to work with and interrogate different accounting packages.
• Full clean driving licence and the ability to travel for audit visits.
