Senior Principal Software Developer (AI Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote; preferably based in Columbus, OH or within Huntington's corporate footprint

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and operate enterprise AI/ML and generative AI applications for cybersecurity and other enterprise use cases.
• Build solutions for threat detection, alert triage, vulnerability analysis, identity analytics, and risk scoring.
• Implement intelligent automation and agent-driven workflows to improve cyber operations.
• Engineer data pipelines and analytics for logs, telemetry, and security data.
• Deploy scalable AI solutions using cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, containers, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate AI applications with SIEM, SOAR, IAM, data platforms, and other enterprise cybersecurity tools while supporting governance and secure SDLC practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of equivalent software development experience.
• 8+ years of production support and design experience with cybersecurity technologies.
• 8+ years of operational experience with security technologies.
• 8+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, coding, testing, deployment, operations, and lifecycle management.
• Technical leadership experience, including mentoring developers and establishing engineering standards.
• Experience with enterprise software development, AI-enabled systems, cloud engineering, secure coding, DevSecOps, and production operations.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of software development experience with enterprise applications, platforms, and services.
• Experience with Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, SQL, PowerShell, and scripting languages.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven services, agentic AI, RAG architectures, LLM orchestration, and AI governance.
• Experience building AI agent registries, operational dashboards, and monitoring interfaces.
• Knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, IAM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, scoped tokens, managed identities, and role-based access controls.
