What you will do
- Provide first-line technical support and own engineering incidents affecting gallery and production operations.
- Set up galleries, studios, and equipment, aligning signal paths and configuring systems to broadcast standards.
- Route internal and external sources, floor vision monitoring, and in-vision monitoring for live output.
- Coordinate with production teams, technical areas, outside broadcasts, remote productions, and master control rooms.
- Match signals, colour balance, and video levels using monitoring interfaces and measurement equipment.
- Maintain technical documentation and potentially travel to support outside-broadcast rigs and operations.
Requirements
- Current knowledge of broadcast technology, including remote production and HDR.
- Experience with broadcast-standard camera and replay systems, ideally with strong engineering skills.
- Understanding of galleries, studios, remote-production systems, and cloud-based workflows.
- Ability to work confidently in studio and live-production environments while remaining calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, motivation, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Appropriate right to work in the United Kingdom is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
