Technical Release Specialist (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end release lifecycle and establish repeatable deployment practices that improve quality and reduce risk.
• Coordinate engineering, QA, product, and operations stakeholders to manage release scope, approvals, documentation, and deployment windows.
• Oversee testing, validation, risk assessments, rollback plans, and recovery from deployment issues.
• Plan environment refreshes and manage Salesforce sandbox creation, updates, and maintenance.
• Support Salesforce releases across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Einstein Chatbot, Communities, Analytics Studio, Data Cloud, and Agentforce.
• Train stakeholders on release management and report release metrics accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4–6 years of progressive software development experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Salesforce deployment.
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Framework, Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, complex Salesforce solutions, and integrations.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce security models, sharing rules, governance, and Copado.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript, plus experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience planning and implementing releases in agile, fast-paced environments with demanding deadlines.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Technology.
• Salesforce certifications.
