Senior Backend Software Development Engineer (Real Estate)

Location: Remote from anywhere in Mexico, with availability to travel to Mexico City for occasional office events. Must be authorized to work in Mexico.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery and ongoing support of backend projects.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features for APIs and services.
• Review peer code and promote standard methodologies for engineering quality.
• Facilitate engineering discussions and collaborate with multifunctional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership beyond the immediate team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Professional experience with Python, Java, NodeJS, and Go for APIs and services.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong skills in modern technologies for designing, delivering, debugging, and maintaining backend systems and front-end interfaces.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Authorization to work in Mexico is required.
• Experience influencing engineering standards, system design, testing, code quality, and maintainability.
