Software Engineer - Fashion Store API (all genders)

Location: Hybrid working model with up to 60% remote work per week; working from abroad is available for up to 30 working days per year.

hirify.global operates a fashion ecommerce platform and develops APIs, experimentation tools, and developer tools for its products.

What you will do

• Develop, improve, and maintain features for the Fashion Store API.
• Optimize API performance, cost efficiency, architecture, and ease of integration.
• Own parts of the user experience and guide engineers in adopting internal products.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to improve processes and tooling.
• Develop, deploy, monitor, and support services end-to-end, including incident response.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a backend software engineer.
• Strong experience with API programming, API architecture, resolver implementations, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Experience connecting frontend requests to multiple backend services in a microservice environment.
• Experience with modern deployment tools and continuous integration and delivery.
• Good understanding of caching, security, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support approximately once every two months.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python and/or Go.
