Senior Frontend Engineer (Web3)

Location: Remote worldwide; flexible schedule from 10:00–19:00. Employment may be arranged through a local entity or EOR depending on candidate location.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Participate in architecture discussions and create and review technical design documents.
• Optimize database schemas and queries for performance and reliability under load.
• Build event-driven and asynchronous workflows using message brokers.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production systems, including incident response and post-mortems.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Frontend, QA, and DevOps while reviewing code and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go, including idiomatic code, concurrency patterns, and performance profiling.
• Experience with relational databases, Redis, REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS and event-driven design.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes basics, Git, CI/CD, and automated unit and integration testing.
• Good written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability tools, high-load systems, cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code, or NoSQL databases.
• Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineers.
• Experience in gaming, e-commerce, fintech, or payments.
• Practical experience using modern AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor.
