Manufacturing Strategic Technical Project Manager

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, USA; hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office. Travel required 40–60% depending on project activity.

Salary: $109,400–$215,500, $120,300–$237,000, or $131,200–$258,500 annually, depending on U.S. labor-cost zone. Eligible for participation in incentive plans.

What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of medium- to large-scale capital projects across manufacturing sites.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams covering process, packaging, electrical, controls, operations, and external engineering partners.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, vendor relationships, and stakeholder communications.
• Implement new technologies, process improvements, automation solutions, and major equipment or infrastructure upgrades.
• Deliver integrated technical and operational solutions that improve reliability, productivity, quality, safety, and business performance.
• Establish engineering standards, mentor technical teams, and lead Communities of Practice across functions and sites.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in civil, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering and manufacturing operations management.
• 5+ years leading capital projects with increasing complexity, scale, and budgets.
• 2+ years of people-management experience, including selection, development, coaching, and career planning.
• Consumer packaged goods experience and hands-on knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or SAP Fiori.
• Ability to lead complex technology projects independently and build technical capability across the organization.
