Senior Analytics Engineer (Ads)

What you will do

• Build and maintain robust, scalable analytical models in AWS Cloud.
• Define data requirements with product and technology teams.
• Develop ingestion, transformation, and data modeling pipelines using the hirify.global data platform.
• Translate technical and analytical stakeholder needs into practical data solutions.
• Monitor performance, optimize queries, and ensure reliability across SQL and Python environments.
• Contribute to data-stack best practices and platform evolution.

Requirements

• Experience with ad tech or martech metrics and concepts, including campaign performance, attribution, ROAS, CTR, and CPC.
• Experience designing data models for large-scale analytics.
• Experience with AWS databases and data warehouses such as Athena, Trino, and Redshift.
• Advanced SQL, Spark, and Python skills, including query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow, Python, Spark, EMR, and Glue.
• Knowledge of semantic data layers and practical experience using GenAI tools for development, debugging, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software engineering practices.
• Experience with semantic data tools such as dbt Semantic Layer, LookML, or Cube.
