Finance Data Engineer

Location: Paris, France; remote

What you will do

• Define and execute the roadmap for Finance data, automation, and internal tooling.
• Build and scale a Finance data platform with reliable models and pipelines for reporting, analysis, forecasting, and operations.
• Migrate spreadsheet-based and legacy workflows to tested, documented, code-based solutions.
• Establish standards for data quality, observability, documentation, security, and access management.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders and the central Data team to design scalable technical solutions.
• Build dashboards, internal applications, and AI-enabled workflows that improve Finance operations.

Requirements

• Significant experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related role with ownership of production-grade data solutions.
• Strong experience building or improving modern data platforms or analytics stacks.
• Advanced SQL skills and production Python experience.
• Experience with testing, version control, code review, documentation, and monitoring for data systems.
• Understanding of corporate Finance and accounting concepts; familiarity with French accounting principles is advantageous.
• Professional communication skills in French and English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience building Finance tools or data products.
• Experience deploying AI agents or AI-enabled workflows to production.
• Experience in mobile gaming, consumer applications, advertising, or digital analytics.
• Experience operating data infrastructure on AWS.
