Mid DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; Workplace: Hybrid

Gross salary: €3,600–€5,800 per month, with flexibility based on skills and competencies.

What you will do

• Operate and troubleshoot GKE and Kubernetes clusters, including node health, networking, and application deployments.
• Provision and maintain infrastructure with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
• Build and improve Helm charts, Argo CD ApplicationSets, and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Investigate incidents using logs, metrics, and health checks, with validated changes and rollback plans.
• Secure access to GCP services, secrets, and container registries.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve system stability and performance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes workloads and strong fundamentals in Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and TLS.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible, including infrastructure plan reviews and environment changes.
• Proficiency with Helm, Git-based delivery, Docker container build pipelines, Bash, and Python scripting.
• Working knowledge of GCP, particularly GKE, IAM, and Secret Manager.
• Clear communication skills for code reviews and incident investigation, including the ability to explain technical trade-offs.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale, multi-cluster systems or web-scraping environments.
• Experience with Cloudflare, HAProxy, Argo CD, Linkerd, Redis, PostgreSQL, Datadog, or VictoriaMetrics.
• Familiarity with Python, NodeJS, Rust, or Go.
