QA Inspector III (NDT/Metrology)

Location: Onsite in Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States. The role requires work in a shop/foundry environment and eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

What you will do

• Perform complex dimensional inspections using drawings, models, customer specifications, standards, and internal procedures.
• Conduct visual and liquid penetrant NDT inspections and provide technical guidance to other inspectors.
• Plan and execute laser tracking and scanning inspections using FARO, Leica, Keyence, or equivalent equipment.
• Use PolyWorks Inspector, PolyWorks Modeler, or similar metrology software to analyze point-cloud data and produce deviation reports.
• Manage inspection records, receiving inspections, NCRs, CARs, audits, and corrective action verification.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, suppliers, and quality leadership to resolve issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5–7 years of relevant manufacturing or inspection experience.
• Proficiency with measuring and test equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, CMMs, and laser trackers or scanners.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T, specifications, and 3D models; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with complex dimensional inspections and NDT; formal NDT certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a shop/foundry environment, and operate or become certified to operate forklifts, cranes, and material-handling equipment.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain the security clearance needed for this opportunity.

Nice to have

• Experience with FARO, Leica, Keyence, PolyWorks Inspector, or PolyWorks Modeler.
• Finishing, machining, foundry, and quality-control experience.
• Experience with 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, customer or regulatory audits, and mentoring junior inspectors.
