Senior Calibration Engineer – Retail Data (ADAS)

Location: Milford, Michigan, United States; hybrid work with attendance at the specified location at least 3 times per week. Relocation benefits are available for eligible candidates.

What you will do

• Own calibration strategy, configuration development, and deliverables for ADAS data recording and retail autonomous-vehicle data collection programs.
• Integrate data-recording software, applications, and configuration files across vehicles, benches, system-on-chip platforms, and simulation environments.
• Lead software-release calibration activities, including configuration creation, testing, deployment, and release-readiness assessment.
• Plan and execute end-to-end validation, including test plans, test cases, defect documentation, formal execution, and reporting.
• Lead connected-fleet data-collection campaigns, monitor recording performance, analyze metrics, and establish monitoring and alerting methods.
• Drive issue triage through root-cause analysis and corrective action while mentoring engineers and coordinating with software, systems, platform, quality, data-engineering, and ADAS teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience in automotive software integration, calibration, validation, or data-collection systems.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional engineering activities and communicating technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical and software systems, embedded applications, data pipelines, and system integration.
• Experience developing and deploying production-level calibrations or configuration files across multiple vehicle programs or software releases.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle regularly and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.

Nice to have

• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, shell scripting, or test-automation frameworks.
• Experience with Grafana or similar dashboard, monitoring, and alerting tools.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, GMLAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, and other vehicle communication protocols.
• Experience with QNX, Linux, Azure, or other embedded and cloud environments.
• DFSS Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
