Global Staffing Senior Manager

Location: Lisbon or London; regular work from a BCG office or in person with clients is generally expected, typically around 50% of working time, depending on business needs and local policies.

What you will do

• Represent staffing in firm-wide and cross-functional initiatives, owning staffing workstreams from inception through launch and adoption.
• Shape, align, communicate, and roll out firm-wide staffing policies across regional, local, and business stakeholders.
• Define approaches for extending global staffing platforms such as SAM and Team Builder to additional populations, partnering with product, regional, and business teams.
• Manage the operating rhythm of the Staffing Center of Excellence portfolio, including plans, milestones, governance, and risk escalation.
• Define and monitor KPIs, partner with analytics teams on KPI logic and dashboards, and use results to guide future priorities.
• Lead the Staffing Working Group and own the function’s learning and development journey with regional, SBU, and BST L&D counterparts.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in professional services or another complex, highly matrixed organization.
• Strong project and change management skills, with experience independently leading complex initiatives from strategy through implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, with the presence and judgment to influence senior leaders and local teams.
• Experience building trusted relationships, leading through influence, and navigating ambiguity across globally distributed teams.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a user-centered mindset and the ability to translate complex needs into practical solutions and digital product improvements.
• High standards of organization, accuracy, and integrity, including sound judgment when working with sensitive information.
• A bachelor’s degree.
