Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per year plus London Weighting of £5,441, depending on skills, knowledge, and experience.

What you will do

• Lead the Culture team across hirify.global.com and the international hirify.global app.
• Manage editors and journalists, supporting team performance and individual development.
• Commission and edit features from freelance writers while developing a diverse contributor network.
• Shape culture coverage across text, video, social, newsletters, podcasts, and design collaborations.
• Use analytics and audience data to evaluate story performance and inform editorial strategy.
• Maintain hirify.global editorial standards and collaborate with commercial teams on revenue-generating editorial projects.

Requirements

• Extensive experience writing, commissioning, and editing digital arts and culture features.
• Experience managing teams of journalists and editors.
• Strong track record in arts, culture, or entertainment journalism.
• Experience working across multiple formats and platforms, including video, social, newsletters, or podcasts.
• Ability to analyse and clearly communicate arts and culture stories to general audiences.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing ideas for an international audience, particularly in North America.
• Experience working with commercial teams.
