Senior Engineer I - Validation (ASIC) (PCIe/NVMe): Developing and executing pre-silicon and post-silicon validation for NVMe flash controller ASICs with an accent on protocol analysis, embedded programming, and system-level debugging. Focus on building validation infrastructure, debugging complex multi-core systems, and verifying interoperability across hardware platforms and operating systems.

What you will do
- Plan, develop, code, and execute pre-silicon and post-silicon validation plans.
- Debug post-silicon hardware and software issues at the operating-system level.
- Analyze and debug PCI Express and NVMe protocols.
- Develop embedded software, device drivers, and test tools in C, Python, and Tcl.
- Build and support hardware and software validation infrastructure for NVMe flash controller products.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to influence product architecture, features, and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant experience for the Senior Engineer I level.
- Proficiency in C and/or embedded C programming.
- Experience with Tcl and Python scripting.
- Strong knowledge of digital systems and computer architecture.
- Ability to develop functional validation plans and the software required to execute them.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of PCI/PCI Express system architecture.
- Familiarity with NVMe, SCSI, AHCI, SATA, or SAS storage interfaces.
- Experience developing device drivers for Windows or Linux.
- Experience using laboratory equipment such as protocol analyzers.
- Knowledge of machine learning.
