Supplier Quality Engineer (Medtech)

Location: Galway, Ireland; onsite role

Salary: €46,200–€69,400 annually

What you will do

• Manage supplier quality for components and maintain the Approved Supplier List.
• Support and lead supplier selection, qualification, transfers, and audits.
• Apply SPC, capability studies, IQ/OQ/PQ, AQL, and incoming inspection methods.
• Lead 8D investigations and supplier corrective actions, including closure of audit findings.
• Review nonconformities and customer complaints and support CAPA and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Factory, Sourcing, CME, AME, and R&D teams to ensure timely delivery of conforming parts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Quality or Supplier Quality.
• Experience with plastic injection molding and assembly processes.
• English proficiency required.
• Strong communication, organization, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
