Lead Automation Tester (Fintech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote

What you will do

• Investigate complex business requirements and translate them into effective test coverage.
• Design and execute automated UI and Web API test cases.
• Write and maintain BDD test scenarios using Gherkin and SpecFlow or Reqnroll.
• Support incident management and reporting of test results.
• Apply regular expressions for test data validation, pattern matching, and log analysis.
• Contribute to testing improvements within configuration and upgrade projects in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Practical programming experience primarily in C#, or strong technical aptitude.
• Experience with Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of UI and Web API automation frameworks, including Postman or Insomnia.
• Experience with Git workflows, Agile project management tools, STLC, BDD, and test scenario maintenance.
• Fluent English at B2+ or C1 level is required.

Nice to have

• Azure DevOps experience.
• Understanding of the application development lifecycle.
• Experience creating and maintaining test plans.
• Knowledge of investment banking and accounting.
