Aerial Delivery Software Engineer (Safety-Critical Software)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible

What you will do

• Own the Software Requirements Specification for onboard safety-critical computers in the Aerial Delivery domain.
• Lead hardware/software integration testing for onboard safety-critical computers.
• Develop software under DO-178B DAL B responsibilities and contribute to verification through testing, reviews, and analysis.
• Address safety, quality, system performance, cost, environmental, operational, and industrial requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience in similar software engineering positions.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Demonstrated software development experience with knowledge of C/C++.
• Experience with software verification tools is desirable.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with software certification processes applying RTCA DO-178B/C up to DAL A/B.
• Knowledge of Worst-Case Execution Time Analysis techniques.
