Spanish (Spain) to English Pharmacovigilance Linguist

What you will do

• Translate pharmacovigilance and clinical-regulatory content from Spanish into English.
• Translate and review safety content, including adverse event reports and related clinical documentation.
• Perform machine translation post-editing on machine-translated safety content.
• Copy edit translated and post-edited content for accuracy, tone, and consistency.
• Meet strict, non-extendable turnaround times for time-sensitive safety content.

Requirements

• Degree in translation, linguistics, language studies, or an equivalent qualification with significant translation training.
• At least two years of professional experience translating medical documentation, including pharmacovigilance and/or clinical-regulatory content.
• Strong Spanish proficiency and native-level English preferred.
• Experience with XTM or similar CAT tools.
• Daily availability and capacity for consistent high-volume work; the engagement is not suited to part-time schedules.
• Reliable, deadline-driven, and able to handle fast turnaround times without extensions.

Nice to have

• Experience translating SAE/AE reports, PSURs, SUSARs, ICSRs, DSURs, Risk Management Plans, or other clinical and regulatory documents.
• Healthcare professional background, particularly nursing, medicine, or emergency room experience.
• Willingness to work daily and/or on weekends.
