Automotive E/E System and Software Architect

What you will do

• Contribute to the Automotive System and Platform Architecture organization and build system and software architecture expertise.
• Analyze architecture trade-offs involving network topologies, functional safety, wake-up times, communication latency, security, and power distribution and management.
• Develop hands-on prototypes across different automotive archetypes to evaluate partitioning, power, and performance indicators.
• Define system and software architecture solutions for central and zonal CoreRide platforms.
• Deliver architecture specifications and support execution teams through feedback loops and rapid convergence.
• Collaborate with NXP engineering and automotive architecture teams, Tier 1 suppliers, and OEM engineering organizations.

Requirements

• Experience defining and developing system and software architectures.
• Knowledge of vehicle functions and software platforms from drivers to middleware.
• Strong software architecture skills, including frameworks, components, and system-level interdependencies.
• 8+ years of experience in the automotive market.
• Experience engaging with automotive Tier 1 suppliers and/or OEMs.
• Experience with hardware, software, and system solutions that enable automotive architecture evolution, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.
