Junior Credit Controller

Location: Cambridge Office, United Kingdom; hybrid work with attendance required at least two days per week

What you will do

• Monitor cash collection for an allocated customer portfolio and work toward monthly collection targets.
• Issue customer statements and dunning letters, make collection calls, and follow escalation procedures.
• Respond to customer queries with timely and professional communication.
• Allocate customer payments and maintain the debtors spreadsheet.
• Coordinate with global sales, technical, finance, and operational colleagues.
• Support finance projects focused on improving cash collection and complete ad hoc tasks.

Requirements

• Previous credit control experience or transferable customer service experience.
• A-level education or equivalent.
• Strong numeracy, administrative, communication, and telephone skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to prioritise and work independently.
• Confidence addressing and escalating issues while working collaboratively.
